The idea of turning the mechanical daily work into a creative and dynamic task is presented after our design teams witnessed Caleres’ staff spending 50% of the workday dedicated to testing and admiring prototype shoes brought in by their manufacturers. An outstanding catwalk was placed in the center of Caleres office, activating from the working station through the side of reception areas to a stage. Employees as professional shoe models walk the runway from their workstations and experience their own “stage” with Calares shoes, fully and vividly. The overall design gets rid of the boring tasks and brings joy to employees at work.
